The City Administration Office houses the City Administrator and other professional staff who manage and support the city's daily operations.  The City Administrator carries out the policies that are made by the Mayor and City Council and coordinates the work of all City departments. 

The primary responsibility of the City Administrator is to implement the policies of the elected City Council, along with assuming responsibility for preparing the annual budget, overseeing personnel, directing the day-to-day operations of the City, attending City Council meetings, preparing and recommending policies/programs, advising the Council on financial and other conditions of the City and providing them with information to make policy decisions.
