At the June 10, 2020, City Council Meeting Davenport Police Chief Paul Sikorski presented to City Council regarding questions and concerns brought forth by the community following the death of George Floyd. 

The comprehensive presentation included recruitment and hiring processes, accreditation, use-of-force reporting and training, body-worn cameras, officer training, independent investigations, the National Public Safety Partnership, smart policing and the future, along with several other topics.

"The men and women of our Davenport Police Department are committed to continuing to build strong relationships of trust with our community," Chief Sikorski.
