The Davenport Commercial Dream application period is currently closed. 

The City of Davenport invested $900,000 in seven local businesses through the Commercial DREAM Project. Transformations have been happening, enhancing the exterior of each commercial property through the repair and rehabilitation of the façade.

Projects included commercial, industrial, and mixed-use buildings that are located in one of the 5 designated areas:

o   Hilltop
o   Washington Street area
o   Locust and Iowa Street
o   West Downtown
o   Rockingham Road



Eligible Improvements: Improvements must be made to correct items that are rundown, blighted, broken, or similar in nature. Examples include:

• Siding, painting or brickwork
• Awning and lighting attached to the building
• Deteriorated roofs that are visible from the street or sidewalk
